November Dinner Meeting: A Guide to Supply Chain Careers
What does it take to succeed in a Supply Chain Career? The skills, abilities and experiences needed for supply chain roles are complex. Supply Chain Managers are crucial to the global economy. They represent a unique discipline responsible for supporting the global network of delivering products and services across the entire supply chain from raw materials to end customers. This field has evolved rapidly. For this reason, APICS undertook a research project to identify the critical elements that make supply chain professionals successful. The APICS Supply Chain Competency Model is the result of this study. Todd Sabin, co-author of the Supply Chain Competency Model, will present how to use this model to propel your supply chain career.
