Maryanne Ross

Maryanne Ross has been a full time APICS Instructor since October 2001.  Maryanne has extensive experience in scheduling, purchasing, production, and inventory control, along with three years of material management for a tier-one supplier to General Motors.  She is recognized through the APICS Instructor Development Program as a Master Instructor for CPIM and CSCP,  she holds three APICS certifications, and has held the Logistics Institute’s P-Log certification.

Maryanne has been a member of APICS since 1989.  She has developed interactive exercises to enhance the entire suite of APICS Fundamentals and CPIM review courses, and has been instrumental in creating activities and enhancements for the CSCP modules.  She is also a trained instructor for the new APICS Principles of Operations Courses, the Lean Enterprise, Customer Focused Supply Chain Management, and Global Sourcing workshops.  Maryanne has developed a full day Lean for Office Workshop which has been offered by several APICS Chapters throughout the District and continues to receive high reviews.

Maryanne has held a number of officer positions at the chapter and district level.  She has served three full years  on the APICS Board of Directors as the Mid Atlantic District Director.  She is now serving as Blue Ridge Chapter President and VP of Education for the Mid Atlantic District.

Maryanne has developed presentations and workshops and has been invited to speak at Congress for Progress, Seminar 1, APICS International Conferences, The BPC in India, APICS Webinars, APICS Leadership Institutes, and at many District and Chapter events.

In her spare time, Maryanne enjoys spending with her family, her twin granddaughters, and her two Dachshunds.  She is a Civil War buff, and enjoys hiking, gardening, and bird watching.  She is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Leadership Development course and continues to serve as a Dale Carnegie Team Leader.  Maryanne is a trained facilitator of the Covey Speed of Trust workshops.  She is an avid reader of motivational materials, and enjoys doing motivational presentations for church and civic groups.
